To reserve a space, please fill out registration form and enclose an $800 deposit (balance of $901.30 due three weeks prior to commencement of course). HYAK RAFT GUIDE SCHOOL REGISTRATION

  Day One
8:30 – 10:00 Introduction: course philosophy, objectives and layout, student and intsructor expectations, personal equipment and paper work.
10:15-11:00 River morphology
11:30-1:30 Flat water training: Introduction to raft rigging, basic river strokes (paddle and oar), flip drills, and throw bagging.
2:00-5:00 River Run: Guiding demos, safety talks, raft rigging, river swimming and throw bagging.
7:00-8:00 Evening Session: Videos/Industry Perspective
  Day Two
8:30-5:00 Chilliwack River Run (paddle and oar)
7:00-8:00 Evening Session SRT theory
  Day Three
8:30-12:00 Swift Water Rescue training
1:00-5:00 Chilliwack River Run (paddle and oar)
7:00-8:00 Evening Session SRT theory
  Day Four
8:30-4:00 Chilliwack River Run (paddle and oar)
4:00-8:00 Travel to Coquihalla River (Food Shop)
