Trip Details
The flight from Vancouver to Chilko Lake takes approximately one hour. From Chilko Lake to the take out at Gang Ranch Bridge on the Fraser River, we cover 120 miles by raft. From the take out at Churn Creek, we travel by mini-bus to the town of Cache Creek. Here we fly by charter plane down the Thompson & Fraser Rivers back to Vancouver.

Reservation and Cancellation Policy
A deposit of $700 CAD is required to reserve your place; full payment is required by June 1st. We strongly recommend trip cancellation insurance in case circumstances develop prohibiting you from taking part in the expedition. If notice of cancellation (for medical reasons only) is received in writing before June 1st, the deposit will be returned less a $100 administration fee. Due to the nature of this expedition, which requires long-range planning and early commitment of resources, no refunds will be given if cancellation notice is received after June 1st.

Safety and Responsibility
We recommend that you purchase an inexpensive travel insurance package covering your personal belongings, increased medical coverage, and trip cancellation insurance. Each expedition member must realize that there are certain risks involved in undertaking a wilderness river expedition. While every precaution is taken to safeguard you and your belongings, you must assume these risks and sign a liability release form exempting Hyak Wilderness Adventures and its personnel from any responsibility for injury, damage or loss of property. We are proud of our safety record at Hyak and promise to make your river trip a safe and enjoyable one.
